Register early to receive your free preparation materials in time to prepare for the test. Paper-based Subject Test administrations are offered at test centers worldwide. You can research your nearest test center at. www.gre.org. You can also register for a paper-based administration online or by mail.
Online Registration
Online GRE Subject Tests are not available for the following services:
- Fee waivers
- Arrangements for nonstandard testing accommodations
- Monday testing
- Standby testing
- Supplementary test centers
Mail Registration
Download and complete the registration form found in the GRE Bulletin and mail the completed form with payment to the address printed on the form. The form must be received at Educational Testing Services by the registration deadline (please refer to www.gre.org for registration deadlines). Allow four weeks for processing. Registration forms cannot be faxed.
Important Guidelines to Remember When Registering
- Register early. Test centers fill up quickly.
- Take the test as soon as possible so your scores will be received by the college or university of your choice in time to be considered with your application.
- When registering, be sure that the spelling of your name matches the name printed on the identification document(s) you will present at the test center. If this information does not match, you will not be permitted to test and your test fee will be forfeited. See Identification Requirements. Please refer to www.gre.com to research acceptable identification documents.
Information regarding test center availability is subject to change. The most current information regarding GRE Subject Test centers, dates, and other registration information is available in the GRE online registration system. Although you will be asked to select a desired test date and test center during the registration process, your testing information will not be confirmed until your registration has been processed. You should receive your admission ticket approximately three weeks after you register.
