New PIMCO managing directors exemplify benefits of MBA degrees

Posted on 2/3/2010
Even in a difficult economy, individuals - such as the new PIMCO managing directors - who have obtained a solid grounding in finance, economics, business and accounting through MBA programs can count on rewarding career prospects.

PIMCO, a global investment management firm, has announced a new round of promotions, and most of the nine individuals who became its new managing directors hold an advanced business degree.

These credentials have allowed them to progress through the financial, banking and investment sectors until they reached their current position. Some of their previous employers include Bank of America, Goldman Sachs Asset Management and UBS Warburg, and many also have an array of international experience from Japan, the UK and Germany.

Mohamed A. El-Erian, CEO and co-CIO of PIMCO, expressed his confidence in the new managing directors' contributions by saying that their talent and experience "will put us in an even better position to deliver the highest quality investment management services."

Among the best educational options for those who would like to advance their careers are executive MBA programs, which are designed to serve mid-career professionals who want to boost their skills and qualifications without quitting their jobs. ADNFCR-2969-ID-19596213-ADNFCR
