Established in 1903, PSU prides itself on its traditions, while preparing its students for the future.

English Language Requirements

  • The minimum TOEFL score for graduate admission is 68 Internet-based test.
  • Some areas of graduate study may require a higher TOEFL score.
  • IELTS scores are also accepted.
  • Applicants with lower scores may enroll in the Intensive English Program full time. Successful completion of this program’s highest level will be considered equal to a 79 TOEFL score and accepted by most PSU programs (excluding psychology and English).
  • Applicants who can verify English was the language of instruction at their previous institution may be exempt from the TOEFL requirement.

  • PSU has a safe and beautiful 443-acre campus with 54 major buildings; the entire campus has wireless Internet access.
  • The PSU Library has holdings of more than 1 million items.
  • PSU offers online applications, enrollment, and degree audit services, as well as mediated classrooms.

  • PSU programs are fully accredited through agencies such as the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools, the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business International (AACSB), and the Accreditation Board for Engineering Technology (ABET).

International Admissions

  • Application deadlines are June 1 for fall semester, October 15 for spring semester, and April 1 for summer semester.
  • Students must submit an official transcript from each institution they have attended.
  • A current original certified bank statement must be included in the application with the completed financial statement form.
