Overview
The University of Texas at Tyler is a comprehensive institution of the prestigious University of Texas System offering an outstanding array of master’s degrees and two high-demand doctoral programs in human resource development and nursing. UT Tyler is recognized for its high-quality education in the professions and in the arts and sciences. We strive to make graduate programming available to both full-time and part-time students.
Located in the piney woods of east Texas, our safe, park-like campus encompasses state-of-the-art teaching and research facilities, sports and recreational opportunities, and affordable housing choices for singles and families.
We attract students from across the nation and the world, making UT Tyler’s student population of approximately 6,200 students one of the most diverse in the state. However, we are not so large that faculty-student interaction is lost. Our graduate classes are small and taught by a faculty committed to seeing each student succeed.
UT Tyler’s graduate offerings span the fine arts, the humanities, the social sciences, the sciences, engineering, health-related fields, business and human resource development, and education. We offer six graduate degree programs entirely online for working students or those who chose not to relocate.
