Location

Located in the heart of the United States, Columbus, Ohio, has more than 1.5 million inhabitants and is the 16th-largest city in the nation—a dynamic center of education, research, and culture, as well as a thriving business community.

Prestigious

Ranked as one of the top 30 MBA programs in the United States, the Fisher College of Business is also world-renowned for its individual areas of expertise, including corporate finance, marketing, and supply chain management.

Notably, Fisher was ranked seventh in the United States for its leadership in supply chain management and logistics (U.S.News & World Report 2010).

Located in Columbus, Ohio, Fisher offers a state-of-the art, six-building integrated campus with satellite uplink capabilities, video-on-demand, campus-wide Wi-Fi connectivity, and a corporate conferencing and lodging complex, which includes a full-service dining facility.

Intimate and Connected

Fisher MBA students experience the benefits of a top-ranked program with a small class size (approximately 150 students begin the program each year), and access to all the resources of a major research university.

Students will have ample opportunity to learn from fellow classmates in team assignments and will benefit from the diversity of the class—there is a wealth of variety, be it in terms of country of origin (more than 30 percent are international students) or prior educational and professional experience.

Customized Education

The Fisher MBA curriculum allows students to truly customize their degree. After receiving a solid foundation through core classes, students have the opportunity to select from more than 100 elective courses to build their expertise.

Students may choose to major in supply chain management and logistics, corporate finance, investment management, financial accounting and reporting, marketing, international business, risk management, or strategy. In addition, students can tailor their MBA by choosing from several interdisciplinary career tracks: global management, services management, real estate, six sigma, health sciences and biotech, consulting, leadership, and entrepreneurship. Students also have the option to make their own major or create their own track, allowing them to tailor their course selection to very specific professional objectives.

Numerous international study opportunities with more than 20 prestigious partner business schools around the world complement the MBA program—including global field studies, internship opportunities, and job placement. Fridays at Fisher are reserved for professional leadership and development events—consisting of seminars, workshops, and training sessions that prepare MBAs to successfully compete in the recruiting market. Students have ample opportunities to participate in interview training and networking workshops, join leading business executives and alumni in exclusive luncheon series, or learn the ins and outs of a career in consulting.

Alumni Network and Job Placement

Students have numerous opportunities to meet corporate executives and to connect with Fisher’s alumni network that spreads over 80 countries.

With more than 300 companies coming to campus to recruit, the Office of Career Management actively partners with students, and The Princeton Review (2004) ranked Fisher third in the nation “where your career prospects are the brightest.” More than 95 percent of students have accepted a job offer within only three months of graduation.
