School of Business
Montclair State University’s School of Business is accredited by AACSB International, the top standard for college-level business programs worldwide. Only about one-third of the programs in North America hold this prestigious accreditation, a mark of excellence in business education. The MBA program combines conceptual approaches to business with practical applications, giving students the skills to be competitive and effective managers in today’s global economy. Small classes ensure that students work closely with faculty mentors and receive an MBA experience tailored to their needs. Offered on a full-time or part-time basis, the program is specifically geared to working professionals.
Montclair State University offers an accelerated Saturday-only program in Monmouth County, New Jersey. This program is designed to fit the schedules of busy professionals and can be completed in just two years. Classes are offered only on Saturdays and are taught by the same School of Business faculty as classes at our main Montclair campus.
The School of Business also has a Master of Science in Accounting degree that enables students to meet the educational requirements to take the CPA exam; this program also enhances and broadens students’ communication and quantitative skills, critical thinking, and technical and analytical skills so they can function as a professional accountant.
