Global Animal Health
Graduate students can work alongside faculty experts in global animal health. A critical mass of researchers focuses on issues such as combating infectious disease in developing countries, identifying new causes and treatments for cancer and heart disease, and understanding how molecular processes during reproduction can have a significant impact on the health of children and adults. Students will develop an understanding of interactions among businesses, governments, inter-governmental agencies, and public interests as they relate to science-based animal health and food policy development.
