The Columbia College Online Campus graduate degree programs are designed to accomodate adult learners who wish to further their careeers by pursuing a master's degree. Columbia College launched the Online Campus in 2000 with 10 classes and 180 students. Today, the Online Campus offers more than 500 classes and 19 degrees with more than 12,000 students taking online classes each year, including MBA degree online classes. Columbia College was founded in 1851 as Christian Female College. In 1970, the college changed its name to Columbia College when it opened its doors to both women and men. In 1973, Columbia College was among the first schools in the country to provide educational opportunities geared specifically for working adults and military students.
